NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel Thresher Momen's Soccer team hosted Tabor College for a rainy and cold contest inside Thresher Stadium in their final home contest of the season following senior celebrations. The Threshers gave up a late first-half goal and a second-half goal in the 2-1 loss. 
 
Juan Demichelis got the scoring started for the contest in the 21st minute when a rebound from Juan Nicoletti's shot off of the far post fell right into his lap with no one around him in the box.
 
The Bluejays evened the score up in the 40th minute to send the contest tied 1-1 into the break. 
 
This time, Tabor broke the tie with a goal in the 54th minute. The Bluejays held off the Thresher attack for the remaining 24 minutes to take a 2-1 victory.
 
Bethel's postseason hopes are still alive as they need a win against Saint Mary on the road Saturday to jump into the top 8 in the conference. The kick-off for that contest is set for 8:00 PM in Leavenworth, Kan.
