MCPHERSON, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Volleyball team traveled North on I-135 to take on the McPherson Bulldogs in KCAC Conference Play Saturday night. Unfortunately for the Threshers, they would come up short in the first three sets dropping the match 3-0 to the Bulldogs.

The first set was a close affair for the opening half of the set. It wasn't until McPherson had a 12-9 lead that they started to pull away from the Threshers. The first set finished with a score of 25-15 in favor of the home team.Â

The second set was nearly identical to the first set, both teams would start out trading points and keeping the score close until the Bulldogs went on a 4-0 run with the score 12-11 in their favor. McPherson closed out the set outscoring the Threshers 13-4 to take set two 25-15.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a big 17-4 lead early in the third set. The Threshers made a late run at a comeback but came up short as they dropped the third set 25-18 and the match 3-0.

Mia Loganbill had 6 kills in the contest.
Katey Wilhelm led both sides with 10 digs in the match.Â

The Threshers will have three contests at home to close out their season. The first comes against Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday, October 26th at 7:00 PM. Â
