LEAVENWORTH, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Soccer team came into the final game of the regular season controlling their own destiny. With a win, they would advance to the KCAC Postseason Tournament, with a loss, they would be out. The Threshers came out on top of the Spires 1-0 thanks to an
Arianna Campos goal.
Â
With neither team being able to score in the first half, the Threshers were faced with the opportunity to take the lead early in the second half. Campos, received a ball from the left side of the box off of the foot of
Katy Ponce. Running up on the ball, Campos was able to put Bethel ahead 1-0 with her second goal in the last two games.Â
Â
The Thresher defense held on late as Bethel pulled out the victory in the road contest.
Maddie Prager finished the contest with 9 saves.Â
Â
The Threshers will have to wait until all conference matches have been played out to find out who their postseason opponent will be. Check
