NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Thresher Men's Soccer team host Southwestern College in a KCAC Conference matchup to wrap up a busy day for Bethel Teams. The Moundbuilders came out on top of the Threshers 3-1 behind two early first half goals.

Southwestern found themselves with the lead just six minutes into the contest. The Moundbuilders scored the opening goal for 23-yards out.Â

The Moundbuilders added to their lead six minutes later on a back heel shot from a ball that got crossed into the box from the near side.

Bethel cut into the Southwestern lead with 2 seconds left in the opening period when
Juan Nicoletti showed off some fancy footwork before beating the countdown for his 11th goal of the season.

Southwestern added another goal late in the second half when the Threshers were pushing everyone up in hopes of tying the contest.

The Threshers will be back on the pitch on Wednesday, October 13 as they host #9 Oklahoma Wesleyan with kick-off set for 7:30 PM.
