MCPHERSON, Kan. - The No. 12 Bethel College Men's Basketball team finished up their three game road Monday night in McPherson. After leading by double-digits at halftime, the Threshers were unable to hold the Bulldogs off late as McPherson pulled out the 59-58 victory.
Jaylon Scott was red hot in the first half putting up 15 points on 6 of 11 shooting from the floor and 3 of 5 from three. The Thresher defense also showed up in the first half as they were able to hold McPherson to 29.7% shooting, including 14.3% from three point range.
After shooting nearly 46% in the first half, the Threshers cooled off drastically in the second half as they shot just 25%. After leading by as much as 16 points in the half, Bethel was held to just 10 points in the final 17 minutes of the contest.
