Defensive Rebounding Struggles Doom Threshers in McPherson

MCPHERSON, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Basketball team capped off their three game road trip Monday night in McPherson against the Bulldogs. Bethel struggled to keep the Bulldogs off of the offensive glass as they gave up 25 offensive rebounds in the 78-62 loss.

The Threshers started tonights contest slow as McPherson jumped out to an early 8-0 lead. After a line change by Coach Pringle Jr., Bethel went on a 6-0 run to trail by just two behind a spark from Zayda Perez and Josie Stupey. After McPherson built their lead back up to six points, the Threshers closed out the opening quarter strong to trail by just a point, 19-18.
