Box Score NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Thresher Men's Soccer team would take on the Central Christian Tigers in the second of three events inside Thresher Stadium on Saturday. Bethel would take down Central Christian 2-0 earning their first clean sheet of the year.
 
Mussawir Ahmed would get the scoring started in the 17th minute as he would be surrounded by three Tiger Defenders and beat the goalkeeper to the top right corner off his right foot. 
 
The Threshers would add to their lead in the 50th minute when Juan Nicoletti, assisted by Muhamed Jammeh, would beat the keeper to the lower right corner of the goal from just inside the box.
 
The Tigers would get on the board and ruin the clean sheet chances for the Threshers in the 79th minute to make the score 2-1 in favor of the Threshers.
 
Bethel will be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 14th as they host Ecclesia College with kick-off set for 7:30 PM.
