NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel Thresher Men's Soccer team returned home to attempt to extend their four-game winning streak to five as they took on the Bethany Swedes. The Threshers would be successful in extending their winning streak as they would beat the Swedes 3-0.

Bethel would get on the board just before halftime when Tomas Espinoza would dribble up the middle of the Swede defense before finding Mussawir Ahmed to his left. Ahmed would then beat the keeper to the near post putting the Threshers up 1-0.

In the 71st minute, Bethel's leading goal scorer, Juan Nicoletti would extend the Thresher lead to two. Espinoza would drive it up the left side of the field before passing it to Nicoletti in the middle of the field.
