NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Basketball team played host to the York Panthers Saturday afternoon as they looked to snap their losing skid. Despite trailing by 17 points in the second half, the Threshers were able to rally to force overtime and eventually win the ball game 70-64.
The Panthers came out of the gates hot as they took a 22-17 lead after the first 10 minutes of play. With
Kendall Michalski's 9th point of the opening quarter, she surpassed the 1,000 mark for career points. The Threshers were outscored once again in the second quarter as they Panthers took a 38-25 lead into the break.
In the third quarter, Bethel was once again unable to cut into the York lead as they stretched it as many as 17 points. The fourth quarter was all Threshers as they outscored the Panthers by 14 to tie the contest on a
Josie Calzonetti lay up with 2.7 seconds left on the clock. After falling behind early in the overtime period, Bethel was able to take command as they pulled out the six point victory.

Josie Calzonetti recorded a double-double as she led the comeback in the fourth quarter for the Threshers as she finished the quarter with 10 points on 4 of 6 shooting, she finished the contest with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
