TOPEKA, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Track and Field teams both participated in the Washburn All Kansas Invite Saturday. The Threshers best finish was
Kalyn Corley's fourth place finish in the Women's Weight Throw.
Laiya Palmer ran a time of 8.12 in the 60m dash to finish in 8th place. Palmer also finished 13th in the 200m dash turning in a time of 27.23.
Mia Roman finished the 200m dash in 28.47 placing her in 25th. Roman also ran in the 400m dash where she turned in a time of 1:04.72 to put her in 16th. She was also a part of the 4x100 team that placed 8th turning in a time of 4:26.12.
Stephany Meyer ran in the 400m and 4x100 while also competing in the triple jump and long jump. In the 400m, Meyer ran a time of 1:02.94 to finish in 13th. She finished 20th in the long jump with a distance of 4.63m and 7th in the triple jump with a distance of 10.41m.
Aubry Grame ran the 400m and was a part of the 4x100m. In the 400m she turned in a time of 1:03.85 to finish 14th.
Alexandra Mendoza ran in the 400m and was the fourth part of the 4x100m team. Mendoza turned in a time of 1:07.11 to finish in 17th in the 400m.
Natalie Graber ran in the 800m and the 1 mile. In the 800m Graber turned in a time of 2:41.75 to finish 19th. She ran the mile in 5:54.58 putting her in 17th place.
Karsen Dunham participated in the long jump and triple jump. She finished the long jump with a distance of 4.86m giving her a 15th place finish. in the triple jump, Dunham finished 6th with a distance of 10.48m.
Kalyn Corley took part in both shot put and weight throw. In the shot put Corley recorded a distance of 9.76m to finish 21st. Corely's weight throw distance would result in the best finish for the Threshers on the day as she threw for a distance of 14.35m.
Bethel will be back in action on Friday, January 28th and Saturday the 29th as they travel back to Topeka for the Washburn Open.
