Threshers extend their winning streak to thirteen as they take down #4 OKWU behind 33 from Scott

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - The Bethel College Men's Basketball team traveled down south to Oklahoma looking to stretch their winning streak to 13 games. Bethel put together two solid halves to take down #4 Oklahoma Wesleyan 91-84 on the road.
 
The Threshers started the first half slow as the Eagles were able to build up a 27-14 lead before BC started to turn it up a notch on both ends. Bethel outscored Oklahoma Wesleyan 32-15 in the final nine minutes of the half with Jaylon Scott scoring 12 straight to end the period for the Threshers. Scott finished the opening half with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Bryant Mocaby had 11 points, while Harper Jonas added in 10 points of his own.
 
In the second half, the Threshers came out absolutely on fire as they stretched their lead out to as much as 13 in the second half. Scott kept his monster performance alive as he put 14 points in the final 20 minutes. Free throws down the stretch played crucial for the Threshers as they were in the bonus early in the half. Bethel went 15 of 19 from the charity stripe in the final period.

Jaylon Scott put up ridiculous numbers once again as he finished the contest with a career high 33 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks.
