SALINA, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Soccer team took on the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes Saturday evening as they continued KCAC play. The Threshers fell behind early and never recovered as they dropped the contest 5-1.

The Coyotes struck in the 14th and 17th minutes to take the early 2-0 advantage. 

In the 18th minute, Grace Anderson was able to cut the KWU lead in half after receiving an indirect kick from Katy Ponce.

Kansas Wesleyan would score two more times in the opening 45 minutes as they took a 4-1 lead into the intermission.

The Coyotes added one more to their total in the 61st minute.

Bethel will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 19th as they take on Sterling College inside Thresher Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 5:00 PM.
