NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Basketball team fell to the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles after being outscored by 13 points in the second half, 74-68.
The Threshers jumped out to and early five point lead in the first quarter led by
Jasmine Peete with eight points. The second quarter saw Bethel build their lead up to eight points before Oklahoma Wesleyan cut it down to two with a minute left. The Threshers closed out the half on a 6-1 run to take a 34-27 lead into the intermission.Â

Carley Robb three pointer to start the second half gave Bethel the largest lead for either team at this point in the contest, ten points, 37-27. The Eagles took their first lead since early on in the contest just past the halfway mark of the third quarter as both teams battled back and forth. Oklahoma Wesleyan took a two point lead 53-51 into the final ten minutes of regulation. OKWU led for the entirety of the fourth quarter, at times by as much as ten points, as they held off Bethel at the end for the 74-68 victory.
