HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Basketball team got back into the win column on Saturday as they picked up a 92-62 win over the Tabor Bluejays.

The Threshers came into the contest wanting to play faster and they did just that in the first half. Bethel was able to force Tabor into 12 turnovers in the opening 20 minutes as they pulled away for a 43-28 halftime lead behind 11 points and 8 rebounds from freshman
Carmelo Yakubu. The Threshers were able to close out the half on a 20-8 run.

Bethel kept the pace ramped up in the second half as they extended their lead rapidly outscoring Tabor 14-8 in the first five minutes. The Threshers took their largest lead of the contest with just under eight minutes left as they led by 34 points, 80-46.Â
