WICHITA, Kan. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference hosted its 2022 Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Heskett Center on the campus of Wichita State University.
Laiya Palmer came away with the Threshers best finish while they were able to set three school records during the KCAC Indoor Championships.
Bethel recorded a top 10 finish in 17 different events between the men's and women's competitions.
Laiya Palmer finished the 60 meter dash in a time of 7.96 finishing 4th.
Aubry Grame set a school record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.64 to finish in 5th. Grame also finished 9th in the 400 meter with a time of 1:02.62.
Karsen Dunham recorded two top 10 finishes, a 5th place in triple jump with a distance of 10.65 meters and a 7th place in long jump with a distance of 5.21 meters to set a new school record.
Stephany Meyer also took part in the triple jump where she finished 8th with a distance of 10.2 meters and the long jump where she finished 13th with a distance of 4.74 meters.
Kalyn Corley finished in 6th in the weight throw with a distance of 14.39 meters. Corley also finished in 14th in shot put with a distance of 10.23 meters.
Natalie Graber finished 12th in both of her events with a 5:55.51 mile and an 11:42.39 3000 meter time, breaking her own school record.

Mia Roman and
Alexandra Mendoza all ran in the 400 meters. Meyer finished 12th with a time of 1:03.46, Roman 19th with a time of 1:04.78 and Mendoza 24th with a time of 1:06.24.
The women's 4x400 team of Grame, Mendoza, Roman and Meyer finished 8th with a time of 4:23.63.
