NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Tennis team hit the road for three contests in three days this past weekend as they took on Missouri Baptist and #16 William Woods in non-conference play adding in an exhibition with Lindenwood between the two contests.
The Threshers took a 4-1 victory over the Spartans on Friday. After dropping the #1 doubles match, the #2 and #3 doubles teams of

Jenna Mahoney/
Karik Elliott picked up the wins to earn Bethel the point.
Daniela Herrera, playing #1 singles, picked up a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
Halle Krehbiel in the #2 singles position fell in the third set super 6-4, 6-7(5-7), 10-8. Nemi picked up a 6-4, 6-1 victory followed by Payton with a 6-1, 6-2 victory to finish off the match giving the Threshers the 4-1 victory.
Following their exhibition with Lindenwood on Saturday, the Threshers took on #16 William Woods in Fulton, Mo. on Sunday. Herrera/Nemi played the #1 doubles contest together picking up the 6-4 victory. The #2 doubles pair of Krehbiel/Payton fell 6-1 while the #3 pair of Mahoney/Elliott fell 6-2 to give the Owls the point.
Jenna Mahoney playing in the #6 singles position picked up the lone win for the Threshers as she won 7-6(7-5), 6-3.
Bethel will be back on the courts on Wednesday, March 16th at 11:00 AM in Seward, Neb as they take on the Concordia Bulldogs.
