MCPHERSON, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's tennis team took on the McPherson College Bulldogs in a match that was rescheduled due to high winds. The Threshers dropped the doubles point and found themselves on the wrong side of three, three set matches as the Bulldogs took the match 6-1.
The Threshers #1 doubles team of
Daniela Herrera and
Fatima Nemi picked up the lone doubles win for Bethel in a 6-3 match.

Karik Elliott dropped their doubles matches with identical scores of 6-3.
Herrera also picked up the win at #1 singles 6-3, 6-0. Krehbiel at #2, lost the first set 7-5, won the second 7-6 (3-0) and lost the third 6-1. Nemi fell at #3 singles 6-2, 6-1. Payton was the second match to go three sets as she also lost the first set 6-3 before winning the second 6-3 andd eventually dropping the third 6-4. Mahoney, in the #5 position was the third three set match of the contest as she too lost the opening set 6-3 before winning the second set 7-6 and eventually dropping the third set 6-4.
Julia Sherman lost at #6 singles 6-0, 6-2.
The Threshers will be back on the court on Thursday, April 14th as they take on the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes with first serve scheduled for 2:00 PM.
