OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Bethel College Men's Soccer team opened their 2022 campaign on the road against the #8 national seed MidAmerica Christian Evangel. The Threshers were able to stay within striking distance of the national power early before the Evangel pulled away in the waining minutes for a 3-0 victory.

The Threshers conceded the tie early in the contest as the Evangel struck for a goal in the 10th minute of the match. Bethel held strong for the remaining 35 minutes of the opening period as the score remained 1-0 heading into the intermission. 

Once again BC conceded a goal early in the half this time just four and a half minutes into the second period. The Evangel kept the pressure on the Threshers all night putting up a total of 22(12) shots to BC's 3(0). In the 90th minute, MACU padded their lead as they scored the final goal of the contest to take the 3-0 victory.
