WAXAHACHIE, Texas - The Bethel College Men's Soccer team picked up their first win of the 2022 campaign in dominant fashion over Southwestern Assemblies of God University. 

Juan Demichelis got the scoring started in the 29th minute assisted by Juan Nicoletti.

Nicoletti, the Threshers leading goal scorer in 2021 and current single season record holder for goals, got one of his own 15 minutes into the second half to put Bethel up 2-0. 

The Lions cut the Thresher lead in half just seconds after Nicoletti's goal making it 2-1. 

Bethel was able to push their lead back to two goals in the closing minutes as Gabriel Villegas scored his first career goal.

The Threshers will be back in action on Tuesday, August 30th as they host Science and Arts of Oklahoma for their first home contest of the season.
