NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Soccer team hosted the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma Drovers for their home opener. The Threshers fell behind early giving up three first-half goals as the Drovers took a 4-1 victory.

Science and Arts of Oklahoma started the scoring in the 22nd minute to take the early advantage.Â

Devon Charles (USAO) scored his second goal of the contest just minutes later as they took a 2-0 advantage after the 23rd minute.Â

The Drovers added their third goal of the contest in the 41st minute to take a 3-0 advantage into the intermission.

Less than five minutes after the break, USAO added in their fourth goal of the contest.Â

Juan Nicoletti got the Threshers on the board in the 52nd minute after a ball rattled around the box and ended up at his feet before blasting one past the keeper.Â

Science and Arts of Oklahoma answered back with a 78th minute goal to extend their lead back to four, 5-1, the eventual final score.

The Threshers will be back on the pitch on Thursday, Sept. 8th as they host Oklahoma City University at 7:30 PM inside Thresher Gym.
