SPRINGDALE, Ark. - The Bethel College Men's Soccer team hit the road for a non-conference matchup with the Ecclesia College Royals. After neither team was able to score in the opening 45 minutes, Bethel was able to net two goals late in the contest to take the 2-0 victory.
After heading into the intermission nill-nill, the Threshers were able to break the scoreless tie when
Gabriel Villegas received a pass from
Adalsteinn Kristinsson and beat the keeper to open the scoring.
Kevin Applewhite added to the Bethel lead later in the contest with an unassisted goal.
Unfortunately, there was no stats or film of this contest meaning the only accurate information in the box score is the goals.
The Threshers will be back in action at home on Saturday, Sept. 17th as they open up KCAC play against the Avila Eagles with kick-off slated for 7:30 PM inside Thresher Stadium.
