LEAVENWORTH, Kan. - After giving up a first half goal, the Bethel College women's soccer team gave up three second half goals to the Saint Mary Spires as they dropped the contest 4-0.
The Spires broke the nill-nill tie in the fifth minute with the only goal of the opening half.
Bethel took just two shots in the first half to Spires' seven.
Saint Mary scored three second half goals in the 55th, 68th and 76th minutes as they took the match 4-0.
The Threshers took nine shots, getting four on goal. Bethel's keeper,
Mariah Vallejo recorded 9 saves in the contest as the Spires took 16 shots, 13 on goal.
Bethel will be back in action on Wednesday, October 25th as they return home to take on the Sterling Warriors at 5:00 PM.
