NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - Winning their fifteenth game out of their last sixteen contest, the Bethel College volleyball team emerged victorious over the University of Saint Mary 3-2.

The Threshers took the middle two sets and the fifth on their way to winning the five-set thriller.

Four Threshers recorded double-digit kills in the victory, led by
Darla Crow with 17, a career-high.
Kylah Carter finished with 12, while
Cameron Offerle and
Jordan Boone each recorded 11 kills.

Kaitlyn Shima had complete control of the Bethel offense as she recorded 47 assists in the victory. She also added in 13 digs.

Four Threshers also recorded double-digit digs led by
Katey Wilhelm with 30.
Brooke Russell added in 15 to go along with Shima's 13 and
Mia Roman's 11.

Boone and Crow remained as forces defensively at the net as Boone recorded 7 total blocks and Crow had 6.Â

Down the stretch in the fifth set, Shima made an impact at the net defensively as she was in on two timely blocks that helped give the Threshers the lead and the momentum.

Bethel will be back in action on Wednesday, October 25th at 7:00 PM as they take on the Sterling Warriors in Sterling.
