McPHERSON, Kan. - After taking a lead early in the second-half, the Bethel College men's soccer team gave up an 89th minute goal as they finished in a 1-1 draw with McPherson College.
After a scoreless first 64 minutes of play,
Aleksa Morovic broke the nill-nill tie. Assisted by
Adalsteinn Kristinsson.
Playing down a man following a red card, the Threshers gave up a 89th minute goal to the Bulldogs to end the contest in a 1-1 draw.
The Threshers outshot the Bulldogs 22(8) to 16(5). McPherson had the advantage in corner kicks as they had 7 to Bethel's 3.
Bethel will be back in action on Saturday, October 7th as they travel to take on the Evangel Valor for the first time in KCAC play. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
