HASTINGS, Neb. - In game two of the Bronco Classic hosted by Hastings College, the Bethel College women's basketball team dropped their contest with the Midland Warriors 64-52.
After trailing by three following the opening ten minutes, the Threshers' offense struggled mightily in the second quarter. Bethel put just 9 points on the board in the frame while the Warriors pushed their lead to eight at the break.
Bethel cut the Midland lead down to as little as six points halfway through the third quarter, but the Warriors pushed it back to double digits just before the beginning of the fourth. The Threshers never led the Warriors pull too far away in the final frame, but couldn't get any closer than 8 points multiple times in the frame before falling by 12.Â
