NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College women's basketball team wrapped up KCAC play for the first half of the season with an 84-50 loss to the Tabor Bluejays.

Bethel was able to keep the contest close early on as they matched the Bluejays intensity despite shooting just 25% from the floor.

After trialing by three, the Threshers got two made free throws from
Kendall Locke and a made jumper by
Madyson McKinzie, scoring the first four points of the second quarter, to take their first lead outside of the first four minutes of the contest.

Tabor responded by going on a 17-0 run, taking a 16-point advantage.

Bethel started the third quarter just as they did the second, scoring the first five points, cutting Tabor's lead to just 7 points.

The Threshers never got the score any closer than 7 as Tabor pushed their lead to 18 to end the third quarter and never looked back.
