KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its men's basketball all-americans on Tuesday afternoon.
Clifford Byrd II found his name on the list for the second straight season as an Honorable Mention All-American.
Byrd II led the Threshers in scoring for the season averaging 15.8 points per game. He finished with a total 457 points on 179 made field goals. He shot 44.4% from the floor on the season.
The fifth year senior recorded 180 rebounds on the season, 6.2 per game to lead Bethel. Byrd II finished second in the country with 91 steals, 3.1 per contest. He also had 141 assists on the season.
Byrd II recorded 6 double-doubles on the season to go along with one triple-double.
