NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel Men's Tennis team opened KCAC play by hosting Tabor College. The Threshers won all seven points including a doubles sweep.
Michael Cech and
Petr Kollar won at #1 doubles with a score of 6-2.
Milan Bucek and
Tomas Quercia won their match at #2 doubles 6-2 as well. Playing in the third slot,
Jonah Bergeron and
Damian Rosas won 6-1 completing the sweep.
Bucek won in the #1 singles slot with a pair of 6-1 victories. After dropping the first game 3-6, Cech completed the comeback at #2 doubles with a 6-0, 7-6(7-2) victory.
Rodrigo Sanchez playing #3 singles won in two straight 6-3, 6-1. Kollar also won in three sets 7-5, 3-6, 10-7. Quercia won in two straight earning a 6-1, 6-3 victory. Rosas, rounding out the lineup for BC, won in two straight games 6-1, 6-4.
The Threshers will be back in action on Saturday, March 25th as they travel to Springfield, Mo. to take on Evangel with first serve set for 1:00 PM.
