SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Bethel College Men's Tennis team picked up a clean sweep of the Evangel Valor on Saturday afternoon not dropping a contest.
Bethel won all three doubles matches to take the point advantage into the singles section of the day.
Petr Kollar and
Michael Cech won at #1 singles by a score of 6-2.
Milan Bucek and
Tomas Quercia won at #2 doubles dropping just one game, 6-1.
Damian Rosas and
Jonah Bergeron completed the sweep with a 7-5 victory at #3 doubles.Â
Bucek continued his winning ways only dropping two games on his way to a victory at #1 singles 6-1, 6-1. Cech Won at #2 singles in two straight as well picking up the 6-4, 6-1 victory.
Rodrigo Sanchez won at #3 singles with dropping just one game in the first set and three in the second, 6-1, 6-3. Kollar lost the first set 7-5 and completed the comeback with a 6-2, 10-2 three set victory. Quercia won at #5 singles with a pair of 6-2 victories. Rosas completed the sweep for the day with a 6-1, 6-2 victory in the #6 slot.
The Threshers will be back in action on Monday, March 27th as they travel North up I-135 to take on Kansas Wesleyan with first serve set for 3:00 PM.
