STERLING, Kan. - The Bethel College men's tennis team picked up a clean sweep of the Sterling Warriors on Monday not dropping a set.
All three doubles teams won their match to give the Threshers the double point to begin the day.
Michael Cech and
Petr Kollar won at #1 singles 6-4.
Milan Bucek and
Tomas Quercia won at #2 doubles 6-4 as well.
Damian Rosas and
Jonah Bergeron won at #3 doubles 6-2.
Bucek won his match at #1 singles without dropping a game as he won with two straight 6-0 victories. Cech, nearly pulled of the same feat as Bucek but dropped one game in the second set as he won 6-0, 6-1.
Rodrigo Sanchez won at #3 singles with a pair of 6-1 victories. Kollar won his match at #4 singles 6-3, 6-4. Quercia took down his opponent 6-2, 6-3 at #5. Rosas, like Bucek, didn't drop a game on his way to a pair of 6-0 set victories.
The Threshers will be back in action on Saturday, April 22nd as they head to Bartlesville, Okla. to take on Oklahoma Wesleyan at 3:30 PM.
