BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - The Bethel College Men's Tennis team took on Oklahoma Wesleyan in their final match of the season. The Threshers left Oklahoma with a clean sweep of the Eagles.
Michael Cech and
Petr Kollar won their match at #1 doubles 6-2 to give Bethel the doubles point as
Damian Rosas and
James Menard won at #3 by default.
Milan Bucek and
Tomas Quercia picked up a 6-4 win at #2 doubles to complete the sweep.
Bucek picked up a 6-2, 6-4 victory at #1 doubles. Cech won his match with a pair of 6-2 victories at #2.
Rodrigo Sanchez won at #3 singles with a pair of 6-4 set victories. Kollar won at #4 singles 6-1, 6-0. Quercia won at #5 singles 6-1, 6-1. Rosas won at #6 singles by default as the Eagles didn't have a player in the slot.Â
The Threshers will be back in action on Tuesday, April 24th as they take on Tabor in the KCAC Quarterfinals. Due to forecasted weather the match will be held at the Genesis on Rock Road in Wichita at their indoor courts. Bethel is the #4 seed and Tabor is the #5 seed in the tournament, the winner will take on #1 McPherson.
