Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Tennis team looked to keep their playoff aspiration alive as they took on the No. 1 seed in the KCAC Tournament, McPherson. The Threshers dropped the doubles point as well as the first three singles matches to finish as they were eliminated from the tournament.
Michael Cech and
Petr Kollar picked up the lone doubles victory for Bethel as they won 6-2 at #1. Both #2 doubles and #3 doubles fell by scores of 6-4.
Milan Bucek dropped his match at #1 singles 6-0, 6-3. Cech was up a set 7-5 and trailing 6-5 in set two when the match was clinched.
Rodrigo Sanchez won set #1 6-1, dropped set two 6-2 and was trialing 5-2 in set three when the match was finished. Kollar was down a set 6-1 and trailing 7-6 in the second set at the end of the match.
Tomas Quercia fell at #5 singles 7-5, 6-4.
Damian Rosas fell at #6 singles 6-3, 6-2.Â
The Threshers finish the season with a 12-6 record, 8-3 in the KCAC.
