WICHITA, Kan. - Both Bethel College Track and Field teams participated in the Friends Spring Invite, a two day event.
Friday's events that the Threshers had competitors in were the men's javelin, both long jumps and the men's 3000m steeplechase.
Daniel Kaufman turned in a 4th place finish in the javelin with a mark of 46.77m.
Myiah Logue finished 12th in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.19m.
Trey Palmer turned in an NAIA B standard in the men's long jump with a mark of 7.20m, .05m shy of the A standard, to finish 5th.
Matthew Fleck finished 3rd in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:07.25.
Hayden Wallace got Saturday started with a 37th place finish in the discus recording a mark of 30.79m,
Julius McVay finished 43rd with a mark of 27.70m. Wallace finished 16th in the shot put with a mark of 12.47m, while McVay finished 18th with a mark of 12.28m.
Mia Roman finished 10th in the women's high jump with a best mark of 1.47m. Franklin Sampson finished 17th in the men's event with a best mark of 1.77m, while Jared Richardson finished 19th with a mark of 1.72m.
Karsen Dunham finished 8th in the women's triple jump with a mark of 10.89m, while Logue finished 10th with a mark of 10.81m.Â
Bethany Schrag finished 43rd in the women's 1500m with a time of 5:46.09.
Tobin Wise led the Thresher men in the 1500m with a time of 4:19.46 to finish 47th.
Robbie Crager finished 85th with a time of 4:45.76.
Aubry Grame ran the 100m hurdles in a time of 16.82 to finish 23rd.Â
Dakota Voortman ran the women's 100m dash in 14.48 to finish 57th. Palmer paced the Threshers in the men's 100m dash with a 13th place finish with a time of 10.76.
Corbin Unruh finished 47th with a time of 11.25.
Julian Jackson finished 87th with a time of 11.95.Â
Schrag finished the women's 800m in 35th place with a time of 2:45.66.
Elly Bertholf finished in 39th with a time of 2:49.81. Wise finished the men's 800m in 2:03.48 to finish in 46th.
Nick Morgan finished 65th with a time of 2:11.16. Fleck finished in 68th with a time of 2:12.25. Crager finished 74th with a time of 2:21.77.Â
Roman finished the women's 400m in 28th with a time of 1:02.50, while
Parker Schroeder finished 35th with a time of 1:04.27.
Voortman ran the women's 200m with a time of 30.02 to finish 78th. Palmer finished the men's 200m with a time of 22.19 to finish 25th. Unruh finished 83rd with a time of 23.76.Â
Both Thresher squads will be back in action on Saturday, April 15th as they host the Bethel Invite, their first home meet on the newly resurfaced Thresher Stadium track.
