WICHITA, Kan. — The Bethel College men's and women's track & field teams continued their outdoor season with a strong three-day performance at the Friends Spring Invitational.
Day 1 Highlights
The meet started off strong for the Threshers with multiple athletes recording personal milestones and climbing the conference rankings.

Carley Bartell had a breakthrough in the discus, throwing a lifetime best of 37.76 meters. Entering the meet ranked 14th, she finished 6th overall and now sits 3rd in the KCAC standings.

The men's 4x100-meter relay team of Caeleb Roper, Fabian Talavera, Corbin Unruh, and Josiah Buller ran a season-best 42.88, moving to 4th in the conference.

Myiah Logue launched a season-best 11.37 meters in the triple jump, climbing to 5th in the KCAC.

On the track, Mia Roman ran a lifetime best in the 800 meters, clocking 2:19.73 and positioning herself 2nd in the conference.

The second day of the meet was highlighted by strong field performances:
Day 3 Finishes Strong Despite Conditions
Despite dealing with tougher weather conditions on the final day—especially in the men's 1500 meters—the Threshers still managed to bring home top finishes and post standout performances.

Myiah Logue jumped her way to a 2nd-place finish in the long jump, which bumped her to 7th in the KCAC standings.

Abby Koontz delivered a clutch performance in the javelin, placing 3rd overall with a throw of 34.10 meters.

Mia Roman continued her impressive meet with a season-best 5:00.78 in the 1500 meters, finishing 2nd and climbing to 8th in the conference.

Emma Graber also ran a season best in the 1500, crossing in 5:40.42.
On the men's side, runners battled increasing wind during the 1500, which resulted in slightly slower times across the board.
