SEWARD, Neb. – The Bethel (Kan.) indoor track & field team delivered strong performances at the 2025 Concordia Indoor Invitational, with several Threshers achieving personal records (PRs) and Mia Roman setting a new school record in the 1000-meter run.
Roman Breaks School Record in the 1000 Meters
Mia Roman continued her dominant season, setting a new Bethel College indoor record in the 1000-meter run with a time of 3:08.94, improving on her previous best. Roman also posted a PR in the 600 meters, clocking 1:41.83, finishing fourth in a strong field.
Personal Bests Highlight Sprints & Middle Distance Events
The 60-meter dash saw Corbin Unruh and Caeleb Roper both achieve PRs. Unruh advanced to the finals after running 7.18 seconds in prelims before improving to 7.17 seconds, securing a fifth-place finish. Roper also posted a PR, running 7.29 seconds in the prelims.
In the 200-meter dash, Cali Roberson recorded a PR, finishing in 30.31 seconds.

In the mile run, Marcus Fiedler ran a PR of 4:40.38, continuing to show improvement in the distance events.
