McPHERSON, Kan. - The Bethel College volleyball team split a triangular at Central Christian picking up a three set victory over Baker before falling in four sets to Central Christian.

The Threshers took game one in straight sets 25-18, 25-12, 25-17. Bethel recorded 42 kills in the match to Bakers 27. The Threshers were led by
Cam Offerle and
Harlie Hunton who had 9 apiece.
Kaitlyn Shima recorded 23 assists in the victory. The reigning KCAC Defensive Player of the Week,
Darla Crow, recorded 7 blocks in the three set win.
Brooke Russell racked up 13 digs to lead the Threshers' defense.

Bethel started match two of the evening dropping the first two sets 25-15 and 25-23. The Threshers avoided the sweep by picking up a 25-23 set three victory before dropping set four 25-19. Offerle once again led the Threshers' attack racking up 16 kills in the contest. Shima recorded 25 assists in the loss, while Crow put up 6 blocks. Russell once again led the defense tallying 17 digs.

Bethel will be back in action on Friday, September 1st as they travel to Sioux City, S.D. for a tournament hosted by the College of Saint Mary. The Threshers will take on Dakota State at 2:00 PM before taking on Morningside at 8:00 PM.
