LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Bethel College volleyball team wrapped up their non-conference schedule with a triangular against William Woods and Haskell Indian Nations. The Threshers beat the Owls 3-1 before defeating the Fighting Indians 3-0.
In game one for the Threshers in the triangular, they faced off with William Woods. Bethel took the opening set 25-18 before dropping the second set 25-19. The Threshers then won an extended set three 28-26 to carry the momentum into a 25-14 fourth set victory.
Cam Offerle led all players with 13 kills.
Katey Wilhelm racked up 24 digs in the victory.
Darla Crow and
Alayna Vines both finished with 5 blocks a piece in the contest.
Kaitlyn Shima recorded 21 assist in the four set victory.
Bethel's final non-conference game of the season was a straight set victory as the Threshers beat the Fighting Indians 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.
Kylah Carter led all attackers with 11 kills in the match. Wilhelm added another 13 digs in the three set victory.
Mia Roman led the Threshers in assists in the contest with 15.
With her five blocks on the evening, Crow pushes her season total over the century mark.
The Threshers will be back in action on Tuesday, September 19th as they host the Bethany Swedes to begin KCAC play. First serve is set for 7:00 PM.
