NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College volleyball team won their eighth straight contest when they swept the Bethany Swedes 25-19, 25-9, 25-13.
The Threshers controlled the contest from start to finish throughout all three sets as they never trailed at any point.
Bethel hit nearly .350 in their 16 point second set victory as they turned in 11 kills as a team, while holding the Swedes to a -.129 hitting percentage in the set.Â

Kylah Carter with 10.
Bethel recorded 9 service aces in the three set victory as well, matching their season high (Texas A&M-Texarkana).
Freshman middle
Darla Crow pushed her nation leading block total to 109 as she added 8 more in the victory. Crow now leads the country in blocks by 38 while playing 5 less sets than the second place player.
Brooke Russell led the back line with 14 digs, while
Mia Roman led the team in assists with 15.
The Threshers will be back in action on Saturday, September 23rd as they continue KCAC play when they host Friends University at Thresher Gym beginnig with JV at 11 am and varsity at 1 pm.
