BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - The Bethel College women's soccer team opened up KCAC play against No. 6 Oklahoma Wesleyan. The Threshers gave up two first half goals, scoring one of their own.
The Eagles got the scoring started with a 12th minute goal.Â
Claire Hedlund evened the match just nine minutes later.Â
Six minutes before the intermission, OKWU took the lead once more.
The Eagles added another goal to their lead halfway through the second half.
Bethel was outshot by Oklahoma Wesleyan 30(18)-3(1). The Threshers were able to convert on their one shot on goal.

Mariah Vallejo recorded 15 saves in the loss.
The Threshers will be back in action on Wednesday, September, 20th as they continue their road trip to begin conference play by taking on the Bethany Swedes at 5:00 PM.
