Filip Maksimovic recorded four goals as the Bethel College Threshers earned their second KCAC conference victory over York, 6-1.

Maksimovic scored the lone goal in the first half with a penalty kick following a Panther foul in the box.

Less than two minutes into the second set of 45 minutes,
Cristobal Goldberg pushed Bethel's lead to two, assisted by Maksimovic.

Lucas Pardo connected twice with Maksimovic in less than three minutes to put Bethel up 4-0, giving Maksimovic goals nine and ten on the season.Â

Following a yellow card on Bethel's keeper,
Sean Holness, in the box, the Panthers broke the clean sheet on the conversion of the penalty kick.

Bethel had a corner kick get deflected by a Panther defender right to the feet of Maksimovic, who found the back of the net for his fourth goal of the game in the 57th minute.

Mussawir Ahmed added to the Threshers' lead after receiving a cross in the box from
Louis Etienne, putting Bethel up 6-1.

Bethel outshot York 22(11) to 7(5). Bethel was led in shots by Maksimovic, who had a shot-on-goal percentage of .833 (5-6).

The Threshers will be back in action as they host the Southwestern Moundbuilders on Saturday, September 30th at 4:00 PM.
