NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College women's soccer gave up two second half goals, while only scoring one of their own as they dropped the KCAC matchup to the York Panthers.
After a scoreless first 45 minutes, the Panther broke the nill-nill tie in the 69th minute.
Three minutes later, the Threshers were awarded a penalty kick after a Panther handball in the box.
Taylor Dashney executed the PK to tie the contest back up.
In the 80th minute, York took the lead back again.
Bethel had opportunities in the final ten minutes of play, but were unable to punch the ticket.
The Threshers were outshot 24(11) to 12(6) by the Panthers.
Bethel will be back in action at home on Saturday, September 30th as they host the Southwestern Moundbuilders at 2 PM.Â
