NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College women's basketball team fell for the second straight time at home as McPherson took the contest 82-77.

Josie Stupey opened up the contest on fire as she knocked down all five of her attempts from the floor, four from three-point range as she popped off for 17 points, but the Bulldogs held onto a one point lead after the opening quarter.

Bethel shot just 18% from the floor in the second quarter as they Bulldogs opened up a 46-34 halftime lead.

The Threshers answered the bell in the third quarter as they outscored the Bulldogs 21-14 behind ten points from
Madyson McKinzie.

Trailing by five at the start of the fourth, Bethel scored the first five points of the final frame to tie the contest. Two minutes later the Threshers took their first lead since the first quarter as McKinzie knocked home a fast break layup.

The Bulldogs outscored Bethel by six points over the next five minutes as BC trailed by six with 56 seconds left to play. The Threshers rattled off five straight as
Carley Robb made a three and
Natalie Richards a layup. McPherson made their layups down the stretch as they held off the Thresher attack.
