Bethel College men's soccer team suffered a narrow 4-3 loss to Ottawa University in a high-scoring KCAC contest. Despite an early lead, Bethel couldn't stop Ottawa's attack and fell to 5-7-2 overall and 4-3-2 in conference play.
First Half: Early Fireworks
Ottawa struck first in the 6th minute, but Bethel responded quickly with goals from Aleksa Oborina (16') and Gabriel Okita (34'), giving Bethel a 2-1 lead. However, Ottawa equalized just three minutes later, and the teams went into halftime tied 2-2.
Second Half: Late Ottawa Goal Seals It
The second half was just as eventful. Ottawa took the lead early, but Bethel's Panagiotis Charalambous equalized in the 53rd minute, assisted by Filip Maksimovic. Despite Bethel's best efforts, Ottawa scored the game-winner in the 77th minute, handing Bethel a tough loss?
