Despite a late goal by Leonie Kuhrt, the Threshers struggled to contain Kansas Wesleyan's attack, which tallied 21 shots on the day.
First Half: Early Goals Put Bethel on the Back Foot
Kansas Wesleyan wasted no time in establishing control of the game, scoring two goals within the first 10 minutes. Bethel's defense was under constant pressure, and Kansas Wesleyan's third goal came in the 30th minute when they found the back of the net, giving them a 3-0 lead at halftime.
Second Half: Bethel Struggles to Find Momentum
Bethel tried to mount a comeback in the second half, with shots from Madison Davis and Leonie Kuhrt testing Kansas Wesleyan's goalkeeper. Kuhrt finally broke through in the 85th minute with a well-placed shot to bring the score to 3-1. However, Kansas Wesleyan responded quickly, ending the match with a 1-4 result.
