Women's Basketball Dominates Kansas Christian in Lopsided Victory

NORTH NEWTON, Kan.—The Bethel College women's basketball team secured a commanding 101-38 victory over Kansas Christian College on Saturday afternoon at Thresher Gym. The Threshers (3-6) dominated from start to finish, using a relentless offensive and defensive performance to claim their third win of the season.

Natalie Richards led the way with a game-high 24 points on an efficient 11-of-17 shooting performance. Kendall Locke added a triple-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds while dishing out 10 assists.

How It Happened

Bethel wasted no time asserting control, opening the game with a 10-2 run highlighted by Richards' finishing inside the paint. By the end of the first quarter, the Threshers had built a commanding 31-7 lead. Their defense stifled the Falcons, forcing 21 turnovers throughout the game and converting them into 40 points.

The Threshers' depth was on full display, with 13 players contributing points. Elena Jugovic added 14 points and eight rebounds off the bench, while Carley Robb chipped in 10 points and four assists.

Kansas Christian struggled offensively, shooting just 23.8% from the field. Hayley Diveley paced the Falcons with 19 points but was heavily pressured by Bethel's aggressive defense.

Bethel's largest lead came with 1:54 remaining in the game after a three-pointer from Lexi Robinson pushed the score to 101-38, capping off an emphatic performance.
