In their final game of the regular season, Bethel College Volleyball faced off against Oklahoma Wesleyan University, ultimately falling 3-0. Despite a strong effort, Bethel couldn't overcome their opponent's consistent play, with sets ending 25-21, 25-16, and 25-15.
Set 1: Bethel's Competitive Start
Bethel opened the match with determination, keeping pace with Oklahoma Wesleyan. Key plays by Kylah Carter and Cameron Offerle allowed Bethel to stay close throughout the set. However, Oklahoma Wesleyan found momentum in the final points, edging out Bethel 25-21.
Set 2: Oklahoma Wesleyan Extends Their Lead
In the second set, Oklahoma Wesleyan increased their defensive intensity. Although Darla Crow and Laci Ownbey contributed significant blocks for Bethel, their opponent's efficiency widened the gap, leading to a 25-16 finish.
Set 3: Bethel Battles to the End
The Threshers fought hard in the third set, with Jordan Boone and Offerle adding pivotal points. Bethel's resolve was evident, but Oklahoma Wesleyan maintained control, closing the match with a 25-15 win.
This concludes a great regular season for Bethel Volleyball. They will finish 4th in the conference and host a quarterfinal matchup against Ottawa on Tuesday night.Â
