Women's Basketball season ends in KCAC Quarterfinals

HILLSBORO, Kan. – The Bethel College women's basketball team, the eighth seed in the KCAC Tournament, traveled to take on the Tabor Bluejays for the third stint of the rivalry this season. The top ranked Bluejays took the contest 67-39.
 
The first quarter started slow for both teams as neither found the bottom of the net until the seven-minute mark. After the seal got cracked for both sides and the Threshers tied it 4-4, Tabor went on a 13-4 run to close out the quarter.
 
Bethel was able to keep the Tabor lead right around the ten-point mark for a majority of the quarter despite the Bluejays shooting over 60% from the floor in the frame.
 
Trailing 36-20 after the break, the Threshers once again struggled to slow down the Bluejay attack as TC shot 60% from the floor in the second straight quarter to push their lead to 23 points, 53-30.
 
The Threshers were able to slow down the Bluejay attack in the fourth quarter, but went cold themselves as they shot 11% from the floor before both teams cleared their benches.
