WICHITA, Kan. - The Bethel College men's tennis team remained undefeated in KCAC play with a 6-1 victory over Friends on Thursday afternoon.
The Threshers started the match by sweeping doubles to gain the doubles point. Between the three doubles matches, Bethel dropped a total of seven games combined as they won 6-1 at #1, 6-2 at #2 and 6-4 at #3.
Milan Bucek picked up the victory in the #1 position with a pair of 7-5 victories.
Michael Cech dropped just three total games as he won at #2 6-2, 6-1.
Tomas Quercia fell at #3 in three sets 6-3, 1-6, 6-2.
Petr Kollar won his match in three sets after dropping a first set tiebreaker 7-6(8-6), 6-2, 6-1.
Rodrigo Sanchez won 6-0, 6-2 in the fifth position.
Jonah Bergeron won in two sets at #6 finishing off his opponent in a tiebreak in set two 6-3, 7-6(7-1).
The Threshers next matchup comes against the Southwestern Moundbuilders on Saturday, March 30th.
