WINFIELD, Kan. - The Bethel College men's tennis team remained undefeated in KCAC play with a dominant 7-0 victory over the Southwestern College Moundbuilders.
The Threshers swept the doubles matches, needing to win a tiebreaker at #1, not dropping a game at #2 and dropping one game at #3 to start the match 1-0.
Bethel then went on to win every singles match in straight sets starting with
Milan Bucek's win at #1 with a pair of 6-1 victories.
Michael Cech won his first set at #2 7-5 and was leading 3-1 in set two before his opponent withdrew.
Tomas Quercia won 6-0, 6-3 at #3.
Petr Kollar won with a pair of 6-0 victories at #4.
Rodrigo Sanchez dropped just one game at #5 as he won 6-0, 6-1.
Moses Sawatzky also recorded a clean sheet winning both sets 6-0.
The Threshers were supposed to be back in action today, April 1st, but had their match postponed due to weather in the area.
They will take on McPherson College on April 4th at 3:00 PM in McPherson.
