McPHERSON, Kan. - The Bethel College men's tennis team found themselves on the wrong side of a 4-3 match with #18 McPherson College.
The Threshers started off by taking the doubles point as they won at #2 6-2 and #3 7-5.
In the #1 singles position,
Milan Bucek fell in three sets as he lost the opener 6-3, won the second 6-3 and fell in the third 6-4 after being tied 4-4.
Michael Cech picked up one of the two singles wins for the Threshers at #2 as he won 6-3, 6-1.
Tomas Quercia fell in straight sets 6-1, 6-3.
Petr Kollar fell at #4 6-2, 6-1.
Rodrigo Sanchez picked up the Threshers final singles victory as he won at #5 6-3, 6-4. With the match in the balance
Jonah Bergeron fell 6-1, 6-3 at #6.
The Threshers will be back in action on Sunday, April 7th at 3:00 PM as they host William Woods before returning to KCAC play on Monday, April 8th at 11:00 AM when they host Saint Mary in a rescheduled match.
